During the start of the Fall and Spring semesters our intention is to give away 5 scholarships of $5,000 each.
This means 5 students will receive a scholarship of $5,000 each in the Fall and 5 students will receive a scholarship of $5,000 each in the Spring.
Please note these scholarships are provided by the help of our donors, so we may be limited in our scholarships from semester to semester.
Any changes to scholarships will be announced at our blog, as our ability to give scholarships is dependent on receipt of donations.
We will be sure to specify what we have available prior to our deadlines.
Please find below our scholarship requirements.
In order to qualify for one of our scholarships applicants must be currently enrolled in a program involving educational technology, this may include, but is not limited to educational technology, instructional technology, and educational media. Bachelor, Master and Doctoral candidates will all be given similar consideration.
If you are unsure that you meet this requirement e-mail us at email@example.com prior to submission.
In order for us to best determine who receives a scholarship we would like you to submit an essay answering one of the following questions:
- What drew you to educational technology?
- What do you intend to do with your degree in educational technology?
- What advancements (software, hardware, etc.) do you intend to make within the field of educational technology?
Submit your essays in PDF format to firstname.lastname@example.org
Deadlines are: June 27th, 2023 for Fall 2023 and November 28th, 2023 for Spring 2024.
If an individual receives a scholarship they are no longer eligible for future scholarships, but may apply for our grants, if they meet our criteria.
We will check on each student's status prior to reading their submission.
